In 2018 despite losing 5-0, Real Betis midfielder Andrés Guardado kept his promise and carried his son to meet Leo Messi after the game. And a cute meet-up it was.
The Barcelona superstar appeared more than happy to meet the little fan. He stepped out of his dressing room and even tucks the kid in for a big hug.
Rivals, kids — everyone loves Messi.

Messi, a father of three
33-year-old Messi is the father of three sons: Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro. He is often sharing family photos to his Instagram feed, along with wife Antonela.
“You grow and you learn. You gather experience in all aspects of life, on and off the field. But, as a human being, having three children changed my perspective on life, my way of thinking and it also helped me grow,” said Messi in an interview about his personal life.
Football fans are eager to see which of his sons carry on the Messi torch. No pressure, guys!
