Fans and paparazzi caught sight of Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min greeting Stormzy at Daniel Lee’s debut show for Burberry at London Fashion Week.
The South Korean football star turned heads with his stylish choice of a trench coat as he posed for photos alongside British rapper Stormzy, who was also in attendance.
In-form Man United striker Marcus Rashford also made an appearance on the red carpet. In 2021, Burberry partnered with Rashford for his first fashion campaign after the fashion house backed his free school meals initiative.
Son Heung-min shines off the field once again
Son, one of the Premier League’s most stylish players, serves as Burberry’s key sports ambassador. The 30-year-old South Korean footballer showed up in a sleek and sophisticated black Burberry trench coat, exuding class and elegance.
Grime megastar Stormzy also attended the Autumn Winter 2023 London show. But it was the Son Heung-min greeting Stormzy greeting that went viral. The rapper is a Burberry representative alongside South Korean actress and model Jun Ji-Hyun who also attended the show.
Jun Ji Hyun wore the iconic beige-colored Burberry trenchcoat, creating a striking contrast against Son’s all-black trenchcoat when the two posed together for photos. Word on the street is that the actress is a big fan of Son, who won the Premier League’s Golden boot for the 2021/22 season.
South Korean royalty Park Ji-min drew recently gained headlines for his snap with David Beckham at the Dior Fashion show in January.
What is next for Son Heung-min?
Spurs‘ Son Heung-min scored against West Ham in a two-nil thriller last weekend. Unfortunately, the goal led to disgusting online abuse of the player.
Son is tied with Manchester United legend Park Ji-Sung for the most appearances by an Asian player in Champions League history (54).
