Manchester United wantaway Alexis Sanchez is on the verge of signing for Italian giants Inter Milan. His medical is slated for tomorrow.
The one-year loan includes an option to buy the player for £14 million next summer. According to Sky Sports, Inter and United will split the bill on Sanchez’s massive £500,000-a-week salary.
The Chilean joined the Red Devils back in 2018 in a swap deal that saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan move to the Emirates. However, Sanchez never performed at the same level as he did for Arsenal, scoring only five goals in 45 appearances for United.

Sanchez en route to the San Siro?
Should Sanchez leave, he’d be the second United player to join Inter Milan during this summer transfer window. Romelu Lukaku transferred to Milan for £73 million earlier this month to link up with newly appointed coach Antonio Conte.
According to the Daily Mail, Lukaku has been flooding Sanchez’s phone with text messages encouraging the move to Italy. Both players will have something to prove at the San Siro.
Sanchez’s move contradicts Solksjaer’s recent statement that the 30-year-old Chilean would stay at Old Trafford. “We don’t have the biggest forward line in numbers so Alexis might end up playing a lot more games than you expect and we expect him to come good at this club, he’s quality.”
However, Sanchez did not appear for Manchester United on the bench today against Wolves.
