Looks like Erling Haaland will be adding another exquisite dollar watch to his growing collection. Sidelined by injury, the Norwegian striker took time to film a commercial for luxury watchmaker Breitling.
Behind-the-scenes photos reveal the goal machine standing in a classic beige jacket and leather football, ready to flaunt the $10,000 watch from the Swiss timepiece company. The shoot, which took place in London, is just days before Man City take on Newcastle at St James’ Park on Saturday.
Premier League watch aficionado adds another timepiece to his collection
Haaland, a watch aficionado, became a brand ambassador for Breitling last season upon signing for Manchester City for $25.5 million per season. Along with racking up a slew of high-end luxury watches, including an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, valued at approximately $220,000, a Patek Philippe Nautilus, worth around $98,000, and a gold Rolex Daytona, costing over $236,000 — he also collected heaps of goals.
The Treble winner scored an eye-watering 52 goals in 53 matches during the 22/23 campaign. He easily won the EPL Golden Boot and finished 2nd in the 2023 Ballon d’Or for his standout season.
Haaland remains on the injury list this term after another hot season start. He scored 14 goals in 15 Premier League matches before incurring a stress fracture in his foot. He’s questionable for the Newcastle match on Saturday. Luckily for Guardiola, Kevin de Bruyne is back in the lineup after 5 months out.
If Haaland does show up to the game in street clothes, be sure to check out the wrists — he’s always adding new watch gems to his growing collection.
