Weston McKennie is out of favor at Juventus. The American inked a permanent deal with the Bianconeri last March after a successful loan spell from Schalke.
But after a series of disciplinary incidences at the Old Lady and with the US National Team where he broke quarantine protocol, his attitude is being questioned. Tuttosport reports that Juventus are now willing to sell the midfielder for around €30M.
Tottenham, who was linked with the player over the summer, remain interested in signing the 23-year-old US international. West Ham and Aston Villa are keeping an eye on McKennie’s availability as well.
Juve boss Massimo Allegri stated back in August that the player was not on the market.
“Weston McKennie has to stay here at Juventus, he’s not for sale. He’s part of the project and he can improve,” remarked Massimo Allegri.
But Allegri seems to be more interested in signing an alternative midfielder this winter to replace the American. 21-year-old Monaco starlet Aurelien Tchouameni is on the list, as well as Manchester United wantaway Donny van de Beek.
The Bianconeri are also willing to sell Aaron Ramsey and Luca Pellegrini in the upcoming transfer window.
