The “world’s sexiest footballer,” Alisha Lehmann, and Douglas Luiz shared some snaps of their recent time together in Milan.
The couple share a unique pairing. Both of them, professional footballers, transferred from Aston Villa to Juventus over the summer. The move became known as football’s first ‘couples transfer’.
Lehmann and Luiz enjoy Milan getaway amid salary gap talk
The Brazilian central midfielder signed in a $54 million transfer to Turin and doubled his annual salary to $7.5 million per season. The deal far outweighed the contract the Swiss right winger got with the Biancionerri.
Lehmann recently highlighted the huge pay gap between she and her boyfriend.
“I’m not a star; I’m a normal person. I go home, cook, and do the same things as everyone else. After training, I often tell Douglas that it’s UNFAIR.”
“We do the same job, but he earns a 100,000 more than me,” said Lehmann.
Both could step it up, with Luiz only making one start and Lehmann slotting one goal so far this season. Perhaps that’s why the two decided to take their minds off of football for a day trip to Milan.
Lehmann, who boasts 17 million Instagram followers, shared some selfies in front of the Duomo di Milano cathedral. Luiz responded to her caption “Catch” with “Hahahaha no way, we’re together always amor ❤️.”
Luiz returned to the pitch on Wednesday to face RB Leipzig in the Champions League. Lehmann will return to action on Saturday in the upcoming Serie A Femminile clash against Sampdoria.
Let’s see if the love birds can strike it back on the pitch this season.
