He signed from Flamengo to Real Madrid as a 16-year-old on a $48 million fee. He officially joined the Los Blancos in 2018 after he turned 18 years old.

Vini Jr. grew up in a modest home in Rio de Janeiro. But given all his success and wages, the player has since upgraded to a luxurious villa in Rio located in the upper-class neighborhood of Barra da Tijuca.
