Bad timing for Manchester United.

Center-back Raphael Varane picked up a knock during the UEFA Nations League Cup final that’ll sideline the Frenchman for a ‘few weeks.’

With still out with a calf injury, the Red Devils will be without their two defensive stars for key clashes against , Atalanta (UCL), Liverpool, Tottenham, and Man City.

The loss of United’s two top center backs presents a further challenge to under-fire boss Ole Gunnar Solskjær. The Red Devils boss is causing frustration in the locker room amongst United’s five key players, including Ronaldo.

Even criticized the coach for not starting Ronaldo in the 1-1 draw against . “You should always start with your best players,” said Sir Alex in conversation with famed UFC fighter Khabib.

Both and Antonio Conte have been linked with replacing the Norwegian in the last week. However, United provided some reassurance to Solskjær’s job by extending the contract for assistant manager Mike Phelan.
