Adidas is bringing back Zinedine Zidane‘s metallic gold Predator Absolute boots just in time for the Qatar World Cup.
The Adidas Predator is one of the most iconic cleats of all time.
Zidane sported the signature gold boots during the Germany 2006 World Cup and the subsequent final, where he scored one of the best-ever panenkas and famously headbutted Italian defender Marco Materazzi.

Feeling nostalgic for some classic “winning” boots? Sergio Ramos was right about Zidane (then coach) when he said, “Everything that Zidane touches turns into gold!”
The gold and white cleats worn by Zidane will retain the original kangaroo leather upper but get an up-to-date sole plate and rubber strike zone.
The shoe, if you’re ready to drain your savings account, goes on sale on November 10, 2022, for $350.
Adidas also celebrated the 20th anniversary of Zidane’s volley in the Champions League final by re-releasing the Predator Mania earlier this year.
In 2019, the brand augmented Zidane’s Gold Predator Accelerator to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Predator Pack.
