You would've seen Drake's latest sports wager unless you were hiding under a rock.
On Tuesday, the Canadian rapper bet $300,000 on his home nation to defeat Argentina, the defending champions.
But the Drake curse struck again. Drake took another “L” last night as Canada bowed out of the Copa America with a 2-nil loss to Messi's side. The GOAT also dropped his first tournament goal on the Canadians.
After Argentina won, the official Seleccion Instagram account played Kendrick Lamar's diss track and added the song's title, “Not Like Us,” to the post-match graphic.
Lamar released the Drake-diss track last May to half a billion streams on Spotify and 115 million YouTube views, trouncing the Canadian instigator.
Of course, $300k is a mere pocket change for Drake. He could've won $2.88 million if he'd won the wager. He can probably bet the house on Argentina in the Copa America final and win it back. Uruguay faces off against Colombia on Wednesday in Copa America's remaining semi-final.
