Bruno Fernandes is assisting on and off the field.
Yesterday, the Manchester United captain helped save an ill passenger while en route to international duty for Portugal.
“Excuse me! We need help!” yelled Fernandes in aid of an ill passenger who had passed out on the easyJet flight. The cabin crew rushed to the back to further investigate. Meanwhile, Fernandes assisted the man in getting a spare seat and remained with him until he was stable.

“Bruno went to the loo at the back of the plane during the flight,” passenger Susanna Lawson told UK tech magazine Business Cloud.
“We suddenly heard a shout for assistance which those within hearing distance looked back, including us as we were toward the back,” she added.
“Members of the crew rushed to the back to help. There was a spare seat at the back which Bruno helped the gentleman to sit down on.
“He stayed at the back with them and made sure he was OK.
“It might have been about 5-10 minutes and then he made his way back to his seat but again very unassuming. He wasn’t looking for any attention on himself.”
The Portuguese midfielder was traveling with Red Devils teammate Diogo Dalot.
Afterward, the two footballers took a selfie with Lawson and her business partners, who were heading to Lisbon for a Web Summit conference. Manchester United CEO Omar Berrada is one of the head speakers.
Fernandes celebrated his 250th appearance with the Reds on Sunday, notching 82 goals and 72 assists. He’ll lead his national side out against Poland in the Nations League this Friday at Estádio do Dragão.
