And the worst kit of the season goes to….HNK Rijeka’s 24/25 away kit. It’s so bad, it’s good.

This season, the Croatian side’s new away feature a shark’s mouth. The image echoes the enduring poster of the iconic 1975 flick, Jaws. You know that one, with the shark emerging from the depths, jaws open wide about to swallow a swimmer.

The new HNK Rijeka 24/25 away kit, made by Joma, kicks off with a gold collar before “diving” into a cascade of dark navy stripes, like splashes of water, we presume. But the front jersey showcase of the shark’s open gold mouth, with jagged blue shapes for teeth, takes it home.

There are also gold complimentary sleeves, the Joma logo, the club crest, and the applicable betting and gaming sponsor, FAVBET.

The HNK’s away kit is beautifully horrendous

On Sunday, the first league side wore the shark kit in their 2-nil victory over Osijec. We won’t lie; the kit looks marvelous upon goal celebration.

The shark is the team’s tifo mascot and holds significant meaning to its hardcore fanbase. Unfortunately, that doesn’t always translate to classy jerseys.

Grab the new away kit if you’re so inclined.
