# Mo Salah embraces summer chill with new buzz hairdo
Liverpool legend Mohamed Salah is trying a new look for summer. The “Egyptian King” is known for boasting a curly afro that has recently taken the shape of Krusty the Clown from The Simpsons.
Yes, the 31-year-old’s hairline was thinning, but Mo embraced it—after all, he put up another dazzling season with 25 goals and 14 assists in 44 matches. For the record, that’s more goals and assists than any other player in Europe’s top five leagues.
Salah cuts the signature curls for a fresher trim
However, Salah may be looking to start fresh in the post-Klopp ear. The right winger uploaded an image to his Instagram showing his new vacation buzz cut. Another balding Premier League camrad, Everton striker Neal Maupay, jokingly replied, “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Welcome to the slaphead club, brother.”
Ironically, Klopp’s new head coach, Arne Slot, is a bald natural. And Salah may be sending the Dutchman a message about the team’s togetherness next season.
“Mo Salah has gone bald in solidarity with Arne Slot. Class act,” said AnfieldSector on X.
“Mo Salah’s haircut is a bigger than city winning the league,” said another.
Sadly, Mo’s matching-haired daughter will no longer have something to pull at. Naturally, Salah left the iconic facial hair. Maybe he’ll even grow the beard out a little longer. But here’s the clean-shaven version.
