Real Madrid are going for something a little different for their third kit next season. According to kit specialists Opaleak, Real Madrid’s 2024/25 shirt takes on the color grey.
That may not sound exciting, but the devil is in the details. The new kit has many interesting aspects that warrant closer inspection.
For one, the kit contains a jumble of capitalized words that spell out “RMCF,” the acronym for “Real Madrid Club de Fútbol.” The unique all-over pattern rings of the famous Louis Vuitton monogram.
If that’s not enough subtlety, just look at the buttoned polo collar. We know Toni Kroos dislikes collars, but the dual-color contrast trims—pink and charcoal hues to match the sleeve cuffs—give the shirt a distinctive pop. RMCF flashes on the back of the neck.
Even more interesting is the use of the old-school Adidas Trefoil metallic logo, initially introduced in 1972. The logo’s retro appearance enriches the aesthetics of the three dark grey shoulder stripes. Unlike the pink sponsor, the Real Madrid badge is also silver.
Kit creator @grhaer9 brings the entire kit to life, accompanied by blue and tri-colored socks. Do you think Kylian Mbappe will look even sharper in these threads next season?
