Adidas thinks they have the next Michael Jordan on their hands with Jude Bellingham. The iconic Real Madrid player will receive a silhouette logo of his famous open-arm celebration later this year.
The German sportswear giant is not shy about boasting that they have one of the world’s biggest athletes on board. And now they want to make Bellingham an even bigger star, according to Footy Headlines.
The 20-year-old is already making a name for himself under the lights of Santiago Bernabéu, reminding fans of the great Zinedine Zidane. Jude’s latest impression of the French don was his nifty backheel nutmeg on Atletico Madrid’s Marcos Llorente. The England international remains tied for La Liga’s top leading scorer with 14 strikes, 18 in all competitions.
The 2023 Golden Boy is already the face of Adidas’ new Predator 24, having lent a personal touch to the latest design. But like Jordan, Messi, and other transcending greats, Jude looks to get his own branding on the next version of the famous boots. What will the logo look like, exactly?
We can only speculate on the final design, and so far, the fans, too, are open in arms to the potential custom logo.
