He's already the most followed person on Instagram with 631 million followers. But now he's broken another record. Cristiano Ronaldo has officially set the record for the most-liked comment in Instagram history.
The Portuguese superstar left a reply on Kylian Mbappe's Real Madrid announcement on Monday.
“A dream come true,” Mbappe wrote. “So happy and proud to be part of my dream club.
“It's impossible to explain how happy and excited I feel right now. I can't wait to see you, Madridistas, and thank you for your incredible support.”
To which CR7 responded:
“My turn to đ Excited to see you light up the BernabĂ©u. âœïžđȘ #HalaMadrid,” replied Los Blancos legendary number 7. The simple 11-word reply generated four million plus likes and counting.
The message left Mbappe “emotional” as Ronaldo has been Mbappe's idol since the Frenchman was a kid.
Mbappe has worshipped Ronaldo since he was a kid, even more than his former teammate Lionel Messi. Like Ronaldo, Mbappe will start his tenure at the Santiago Bernabeu wearing the number 9. The striker must wait another year until iconic number 10 Luka Modric retires from the club.
