Beckham is a man on a mission. After securing football’s biggest gem in Lionel Messi, the Inter Miami co-owner is now set on re-establishing the deadly Barcelona trio: MSN (Messi-Suarez-Neymar).
At least, that’s the impression we get from one of his latest social media snaps. The 48-year-old posted a snap featuring him hanging out with Neymar in Miami alongside his wife, Victoria.
“Welcome to Miami my friend (only for dinner),” he captioned.
Is an MSN reunion on the cards?
Luis Suarez joined the Herons last December as a free agent. Messi and Suarez have opened their new MLS campaign, netting seven and notching four assists. The team ranks second in the Eastern Conference through six games, having lost their last match with Messi out due to injury.
Adding Neymar to the roster would add some serious firepower, even if it’s nostalgia. The Brazilian tore his ACL last October after playing five games with the Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Hilal. He has one of the most lucrative contracts in the Middle East, behind Ronaldo and Karim Benzema’s, at roughly $80million annually.
Would the Brazilian leave after his contract expires in 2025 for brighter pastures? Given the criticism the Saudi Pro League has taken from European players and poor audience numbers, a move closer to his old mates makes sense.
Do you want to want to see Neymar in an Inter Miami kit? Neymar also promised a glorious return to his first professional club, Santos, in 2025.
