Adidas and Bugatti have teamed up to create a limited-edition boot, aptly named Adidas X BUGATTI XCrazyfast.
The collaboration is the first of its kind between the luxury car maker and the German sportswear brand. The exclusive cleat gets “maximized for speed and style,” according to the release sheet. Only 99 pairs will be available through auction on the Adidas Collect 3 platform between November 8 – 11.
The Adidas Bugatti's 99-Pair XCrazyfast boot combines the unique touches of both iconic brands. It adopts the Adidas Crazyfast template with the Speedframe sole plate technology and Aerocage innovation while inheriting Bugatti's carbon-fiber and recognizable blue color.
The carbon-fiber inlay enhances the boot's lightweight design for improved speed and agility on the pitch. Meanwhile, Bugatti's iconic blue brand identifier struts proudly on the outside and soul of the boot. The French racing blue features prominently in various models, from the classic Type 35 race cars of the 1920s to modern hypercars like the Bugatti Veyron and Chiron.
On the left side of the boots lies each brand's logo alongside their respective slogans, which take on a similar vein. “Impossible is nothing” for Adidas, and “Create the incomparable” for Bugatti is a clarion call for exploring limitless possibilities.
AC Milan's Rafael Leao and 2022 Ballon d'Or winner Karim Benzema will be the first players to put the boots in action later this week.Â
