Kevin De Bruyne‘s new haircut means only one thing: the 24/25 Premier League is upon us.
The Belgian central midfielder is known to change his style each season. But his most recent dew has left head coach Pep Guardiola stupefied.
City boss Pep Guardiola said at the team’s first practice, “You have to explain to me this hair [style]!”
From the slicked-back hair in the front, the red-haired maestro looks like he just came out of the pool. But from the back with the top knot, De Bruyne looks like his teammate Erling Haaland. Shall we call him Erling DeBruyne?
Like his teammate Jack Grealish, 33-year-old De Bruyne is a man of many styles. Upon his midseason return last season, De Bruyne copied the Englishman’s bro-flow hair, minus the Alice headband.
De Bruyne empowered Manchester City when they needed him most, with hair swept back and textured. He made the layered undercut look like a bike helmet. But the scraggly style is just the man’s vibe.
Fuelled by De Bruyne, City once again clawed back up to the table against Arsenal to win their consecutive Premier League title.
De Bruyne will kick off his tenth with Manchester City when the Sky Blues face Manchester United in the Community Shield on August 10. The Belgian could be sporting a new haircut in the Saudi Pro League next summer.
