is in Vogue Magazine, modeling for the Danish brand Rains. The Liverpool defender follows in the footsteps of footballers like Trent Alexander Arnold, Son Heung-min, and Bukayo Saka to hit the gloss in the past year.

“… don’t tell me that you model if you ain’t been in Vogue,” said a proud van Dijk, who dons the newest outfits from Danish fashion brand Rains.

The Dutchman is a close friend of Rains founders Daniel Brix Hesselager and Philip Lotko, the duo who embarked on reinventing the raincoat in 2012. As seen in van Dijk’s 10-page feature, the stylish raincoats blend style with practicality, much like the calm and composed center-back himself.

The shoot took place on one of van Dijk’s off-days in Liverpool. The skipper looks to lead the Reds to another Premier League title this term. But don’t tell the original footballer turned runway walker, Pep Guardiola, that.
