Kylian Mbappe appears to be leaving PSG after refusing to sign a new contract with the club. With the Frenchman’s agreement expiring at the end of the 23/24 season, the Ligue 1 side will be looking to capitalize on their star player before letting him go as a free agent after this season. In the meantime, let’s explore the five clubs where the French striker could end up next.

Al-Hilal

Money talks — the old adage rings true in the world of football . Ronaldo, , and N’Golo Kante have all moved on big money offers to the Middle East.

Mbappe could very well be tempted by the world record $332m bid from Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal for his services. The deal would easily surpass Neymar’s $262 million move to PSG in 2017. The 24-year-old’s annual salary would also exceed $770 million. Absurd.

Due to a contract stalemate, Mbappe is currently out of PSG’s squad for their preseason tour in Japan and South Korea. This week’s developments should foretell if Mbappe is even interested in the Al-Hilal offer.

The idea undoubtedly entertains PSG, as they could use the extra funds to snatch Harry Kane, , and other offensive reinforcements. Meanwhile, Al Hilal is desperate to land a star footballer after failing to lure in Lionel Messi from Miami.

Real Madrid

We’d be millionaires if we earned a dollar for every time Mbappe linked to Real Madrid. Every summer, it seems that Mbappe is on his way to the Spanish capital, only to be incentivized back to a big offer from PSG. Rumor has it PSG is offering Mbappe a new 10-year deal worth $1.3 billion.

While Real Madrid may “buy” their time until Mbappe becomes a free transfer next summer, they are, as the Al-Hilal big offer shows, at risk of losing a marquee player and Benzema’s long-term replacement.

Arsenal

IF Mbappe were to sign from a Premier League, his ideal team would be the North Londoners in Arsenal. Mbappe allegedly likes Arteta’s project. However, Arsenal have already spent a vast chunk of transfer money this summer on Declan Rice, Kai Harvetz, and Jurrien Timber.

The Gunners would have to get creative in their offering for Mbappe, such as offering 22-year-old left-winger starlet Gabriel Martinelli as part of a potential offer.

Chelsea

The Blues are also in the running to sign Mbappe. However, the London club already splurged nearly a billion on recruits after Todd Boehly’s takeover last season.

Meanwhile, Mauricio hopes to sell some of Chelsea’s high-earning players to raise funds for the potential acquisition of Mbappe. Poch coached Mbappe at PSG during his 1.5 seasons with the French side.

Manchester United

Who aren’t the Red Devils linked with? Manchester United are keeping on Mbappe’s availability, ready to pounce at any moment at the player and club’s failed negotiations.

United recently re-signed ace forward Marcus Rashford, but nothing could stop the Red Devils from going all out on the 24-year-old goal-machine Mabppe, currently valued at $200 according to the Transfer market

Kylian Mbappé has scored a remarkable 148 goals in 176 league games at PSG. He scored 29 times last season, his second-best record.

The talented player has won the Ligue 1 five times. He also earned the top goal scorer’s award at the last World Cup and was named the Best Young Player at the 2018 World Cup, helping France win the tournament.
