Do you believe in fairy tales? For Barcelona and Inter Miami fans, it may very well come true.
They could see the reunion of MSN (Messi, Suarez, and Neymar) one more time.
According to FC Barcelona Noticias, the Brazilian has verbally agreed to join Inter Miami next season.
Neymar’s Al-Hilal contract runs through June 2025, and he’s not exactly set the right tone at the Saudi Pro League club.
He’s only suited up for Al-Hilal five times, contributing one goal and three assists. His first season was cut short by an extensive ACL injury. On Monday, the Brazilian forward returned to the pitch one year later as a sub in the AFC Champions League Elite clash against Al Ain.
Yet, Ney does not hide his admiration for his old pals Messi and Suarez or his friendship with David Beckham.
Could Neymar revive the legendary MSN partnership?
After all, Neymar left the two in the summer of 2017 to join PSG. The MSN dominoes fell thereafter with Suarez’s departure to Atletico Madrid and Messi to the Parisian side. The three produced 122 goals and 61 assists during Barca’s 2014-15 season. In total, they scored a whopping 363 goals between 2014 and 2017.
Now, Neymar could be the missing link that reunites all of them in Miami.
FIFA also awarded The Herons the last spot in the Club World Cup, meaning free agent Neymar could make his debut for the Ft. Lauderdale side in June 2025.
Last March, Neymar told ESPN Argentina that he was looking forward to one last dance with Messi and Suarez.
“Hopefully we can play together again. Leo is a great person, everyone knows him in football and I think he is very happy and if he is happy, I am too.”
“I’d love to play in the U.S., actually. I’d love to play there at least for a season.”
After breaking the band apart, Neymar could be the one to bring it all back together in Miami.
