10. Borussia Dortmund 1997

Borussia Dortmund's 1996/97 Champions League winning kit is undoubtedly a fan favorite. 

The home shirt featured heavy black shoulders draped over the iconic yellow with the stylized letter C for German sponsors Die Continentale, making it look like a hockey jersey. The inclusion of the collar screams the late . Nike also got their first Champions League nod in this winner's outfit.  

9. Marseille 1993

The Adidas Olympique Marseille 1993 winning kit is as simple as they come. It's also the first official Champions League winners kit, with the induction of the tournament starting during the 1992/93 season. 

The Three Stripes appeared light blue on the shoulder, accompanied by the Adidas equipment logo underneath the collar. The club's “Droit Au But” emblem flashes across the heart. Panasonic appeared as the original home shirt sponsor at the time, although UEFA had stricter regulations on logos during this period — hence why Panasonic was missing on the finals kit. There was also a long sleeve version of this beauty đŸ€€

8. 1995 Ajax

Umbro's 1995 Ajax away kit is an amazing exploration of font types and badge placement. It was the first time the official Champions League Starball patch appeared on the kit. The blue and red kit also stood out for the vertical sponsor ABN AMRO running down it.

7. Manchester United 1999

Stand up, look SHARP. Manchester United's Champions League winning kit is a must for any die-hard Manchester United fan. Beckham, Giggs, Neville — Fergie's Fledglings celebrated the treble in 1999 in this iconic red Umbro home shirt. 

Everything was BIG on the shirt, from the oversized collar to kit maker UMBRO to the Red Devils badge and, most memorably, the SHARP logo spelled across the shirt. Last minute winner, anybody? 

6. Real Madrid 1998

Mic TEKA… remember this? Real Madrid's 1998 home shirt made by KELME is the stuff of legends — Guti, Hierro, Redondo, Robert Carlos, and a young Raul Gonzalez! While it may not be one of our all-time favorite Real Madrid kits, it certainly ranks on the best-ever Champions League winners' list. 

That hint of purple on the color and the one-button collar snap was just “so so so good,” as Mourinho says.  

5. Barcelona 1992

There's no shame in fans glorifying kits from a trophy-laden past, especially if it's the first-ever Champions League trophy. The 1991-92 Dream Team, led by coach Johan Cruyff, was no exception. 

That team, featuring , excelled in the vibrant orange away jersey, the last kit produced by local brand Meyba for Barca — see the minimal M logo? The blue-shaped V-collar on the shoulders and Blaugrana side stripes also made this one pop. 

4. Real Madrid 2002

Why is the Real Madrid 2001/02 kit so memorable? It's because of one man with an unforgettable volley finish. broke AC Milan's hearts in this wondrous white kit when he finished a one-time golazo off an arching Robert Carlos pass. 

This black and white shirt — simplistic, glowed on the front while the elongated Adidas three stripes spoke by themselves, running down the shoulder. This shirt is up there with the best Real Madrid kits ever. 

3. Barcelona 2009

This unique half-stripe, half-solid design home kit marked Barcelona's unprecedented triumph in winning the Copa del Rey, La Liga, and the Champions League — a first-ever treble in Spanish football. It was also Pep Guardiola's first season as head coach. 

The shirt also featured the UNICEF logo, showcasing the club's commitment to charitable causes before it sold its soul a decade later. 

2. Juventus 1996

Juventus 1995/96 Champions League winning kit belongs in the _________. You fill in the museum. This jersey was a Kappa gem, accentuated with yellow trim and worn by legends like Alessandro Del Piero and Zinedine Zidane. Big stars donned the shoulders like the legends they were, and a conspicuous Sony sponsor threw across the chest. Yup, this was the 90s, the PlayStation and Discman era. 

1. AC Milan 2003

AC Milan has won the Champions League five times since 1989. Strangely enough, none of those kits were the home kit; instead, they were all the white away. 

But one in particular stands above the rest and tops our entire Champions League finals kits list: the 2002/03 Rossoneri Adidas winners shirt. The jersey was the culmination of simplicity and modernity, ushering in an era of balanced logos, sponsors, and tricolor stripes. It was captain (and stud) Paulo Maldini's 4th European title, and Carlo Ancelotti was starting his Champions League predominance.
