Some fans can anticipate their clubs spending big with the Premier League summer transfer window beginning next week. EPL stars, including Chelsea’s , Mason Mount, , and Declan Rice, are all potential .

Last season’s summer transfer window saw Premier League clubs spend $2.62 billion on fresh talent. The top 20 clubs spent an additional $1 billion during the winter window, with a third spent by Chelsea owner Todd Boehly.

So when exactly does the summer transfer window open?

The Premier League summer transfer window officially opens Wednesday, June 14. Remember that the start date applies to domestic leagues and excludes the signing of players in international clubs until July 1. 

The deadline day for the summer window is September 1, which aligns with other top-flight leagues in , Germany, , and Spain. 

After the official deadline, teams across all leagues can still sign free-agent players as long as those players have no formal affiliation with any club by Friday, September 1.
