After becoming the face of Adidas’s new Predator 24 and reportedly getting his own logo, Jude Bellingham teased bootheads by wearing another fresh pair of cleats.
An England training picture shows the 20-year-old midfielder playing in the forthcoming Predator 2024 Roteiro boots. The original Roteiro boots, inspired by the “Roteiro” official match ball and Predator 2004 boots, were released during the 2004 Euros in Portugal.
That shiny silver ball still sends goosebumps to nostalgic football fans worldwide, especially the Greeks. Greece won the 2004 tournament as extreme underdogs.
The original 2004 Predator Roteiro boot release shared a half-and-half design with black and silver as the main colors. It also featured the iconic foldover red tongue, reimagined in the new 2024 Roteiro release.
The new 2024 Roteiro boots rock the silver colorway, one on one side with blue on the other. Again, the overlapping red tongue featuring the three stripes takes prominence. The Predator trademark red rubber fins also remain. An updated 2024 Roteiro Euro match ball plans to accompany the release two decades after its Portugal debut.
The 2024 Roteiro boots will go on sale for ~$ $280 later this month, although we can expect to see them in action when Bellingham plays Brazil in a friendly at Wembley on Saturday.
Italian striker Giacomo Raspadori also teased the new Predator colorway in practice. He’s most likely to sport them in tomorrow’s friendly against Venezuela.
