Lebron James and Liverpool have teamed up again to drop another doozy of a warmup kit. The images come courtesy of Footy Headlines in partnership with kit designer lfcdzn.
James, an NBA basketball legend and entrepreneur, including a minority stake in Liverpool, leaked information on the Nike x Lebron James 2024 Liverpool shirt a few days ago. We get a first look at the shirt before it hits stores later this month.
Unlike the old-school pin-striped Liverpool-Lebron shirt released last year, the new collaboration takes on a modernist vibe. On the black colorway lies a predominant boxy pattern with YNWA's “You'll Never Walk Alone” and Lebron's mantra “Strive For Greatness” sprinkled throughout.
Interestingly, Nike lets Lebron's crown logo take over its usual right-chest real estate. A golden LFC logo, echoing the shrine of LBJ's, sits across, with the same “YWNA” sheen featured prominently across the chest. The Swoosh gets relegated to the bottom of the shirt.Â
Meanwhile, a subtle, refined teal hue lines the cuffs and shirt neck.
Like Lebron's previous shirt, Liverpool players intend to wear the 2024 top in pre-game warmups. A short and long-sleeve white tee-shirt featuring golden logos and a graphic tee will accompany the new shirt.
