Images of the 2023 Women's away kit for the USA women's national soccer team have been leaked, generating excitement and dismay among the team's fans.

The new kit features a vibrant blue base color accented by a bold red hue, resulting in a striking and eye-catching appearance.

The -designed USA 2023 Women's World Cup away shirt also showcases a curvy pattern running across the shirt. The flowing design, however, stops abruptly at the cuffs, which morph into a red-blue lightning pattern.

“So the and OL Reign are just morphing into one team basically,” tweeted one fan.

“Will give weird visual effects on TV,” said another.

The badge, of course, features four stars to indicate the team's record-setting four World Cup titles. But look further, and the splatter design from the home kit pops out. Fans already expressed displeasure with the home that look like “blobs of paint.”

Both kits are set to get an official online release later this month.

The shirt's wavy design template mimics the Netherlands Women's 2023 World Cup Home kit. The two countries, who met in the final in 2019, face off against each other in the group stage.

The Women's World Cup 2023 will start on July 20th in Australia and New Zealand, with the USWNT kicking off their tournament against Vietnam on July 21st at Eden Park in Auckland, New Zealand.

The United States women's national soccer team is one of the most successful teams in Women's World Cup history, having won the four times, most recently in 2019. The team will be looking to defend their title in the 2023 tournament.
