With ‘s success in his young career, you wouldn’t guess his biggest dream.

Interestingly, it has nothing to do with Real Madrid or the . The 21-year-old helped spearhead Los Blancos’ Champions League and La Liga silverware last campaign. He previously won the DFB-Pokal trophy with Borussia Dortmund.

A dream beyond trophies: Family first for Jude Bellingham

On the latest episode of his YouTube series Out of the Floodlights, Bellingham revealed that playing alongside his younger brother Jobe on the national team would be “the biggest dream” of his life.

“Because we’re a similar age and we’ve played together for so long in the street and on the tufts of grass, to play with my brother for England that would be the biggest dream of my life,” he said.

“That would mean more than any of the trophies. Especially if we managed to do it on a consistent basis and play at a major tournament together and win things together. Honestly, nothing would even get close to that. Nothing.”

Bellingham nearly won England its first trophy in 60 years after a second place in this summer’s Euro tournament. Perhaps he’s waiting to earn that silverware with his brother Jobe on the pitch.

Like Jude, 18-year-old Jobe has risen quickly through the upper echelon of professional football. He’s a standout player for Championship side Sunderland with links to Premier League clubs Brentford and Tottenham. He also stars for England’s U-19 team.

Jude’s dream may come sooner than he thinks, but not just at the international level. Real Madrid has sent scouts to watch Jobe ball it up as well. His style and versatility in the central midfielder position are similar to his older brother’s.

“I’m really conscious of that because I know it’s something people will always throw in his face and it’s not fair because he’s an amazing talent, amazing player in his own right,” Bellingham conveyed.

“People will use him to have a dig at me and vice versa. We’re almost like each other’s biggest fans but also the biggest target for each other because we care about each other so much.

“He has to deal with more than I would have had to at his age and he deals with it with so much class. He wants to try and create his own legacy and his own path.

“At the end of the day, as long as he’s happy, that’s what I really care about to be honest. His happiness means more to me than my own.”
